Your contribution will make an enormous difference for the players and you can receive exclusive rewards.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_3385\" style=\"width: 478px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3385\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3385\" title=\"malawi-hwc-5\" src=\"http:\/\/www.faceofmalawi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/malawi-hwc-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"468\" height=\"350\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3385\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo by Homeless World Cup<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In 2007, Niall Grant co-founded the \u2018Tili Tonse\u2019 organisation through his participation with the Hunter Leadership Program, which identifies and offers scholarships to potential future leaders for Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>A second year Finance and Economics student at the University of Strathclyde, Grant, from Edinburgh, has developed the programme along with colleague Patricio Kulemeka, a native of Malawi, who runs the day to day operation of the project based in the southern city of Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>Through participation in football and training, \u2018Tili Tonse\u2019 offers health awareness and educational support to men and women aged between 16 and 25 years old.<\/p>\n<p>The project works with a large section of the local community, utilising football to stimulate positive change in people\u2019s lives. As Malawi is a country with an enormous rich-poor divide, there are barely any provisions for education or health, and HIV\/AIDS is an enormous problem.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its work &#8216;Tili Tonse&#8217; teaches teams in Blantyre, some of which are coached and tutored by previous members of the Malawi Homeless World Cup team who share their knowledge and experience of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Read more on Ulule following this link: http:\/\/www.ulule.com\/malawi-hwc\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Donate to Ulule today and support the All-Women Team from Malawi to reach the Paris 2011 tournament.
