Qatar Foreign Affairs Minister meets president Joyce Banda

Malawi President Joyce Banda on Wednesday met Foreign Affairs Minister of Qatar, one of the world’s largest oil producing countries.

Sheik Abdulrahim Al-Thani told reporters after meeting President Banda that he came to condole Malawi and to congratulate the new president.

“Apart from that we also discussed a number of bilateral relations,” said Sheil Althani.

Qatar is one of the richest nation in the world and is a huge oil producer.

Earlier the president met representatives of the Asian business community who pledged to work with her among other issues discussed.
