The name of the Magistrate who granted bail to FDH CEO Thom Mpingangira at midnight at Zomba Magistrate Court has been revealed.
Judiciary spokesperson Agnes Patemba has identified the Magistrate as Principal Resident Magistrate Ben Chitsakamile.
According to Patemba, the High Court will also review the order made by the Magistrate court.
Mpinganjira was granted bail at midnight, a development that has angered the general public including ACB Director Reyneck Matemba.
Mpinganjira is accused of attempting to bribe Judges handling the Presidential polls case where Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and United Transformation Movement (UTM) are seeking nullification of the May 21 polls.
