At least 12 individuals have been arrested in Ntchisi district for allegedly selling fuel on the black market without proper licensing.
Ntchisi Police Spokesperson Salomy Zgambo confirmed the arrests, which took place today at Ntchisi Boma and Malomo Trading Centres.
The suspects include Hosea Mwembe, Madalitso Levani, Seana Kasomba, Happy White, Phillip Banda, Lukas Chifu, and Innocent Thamalengani, among others.
Zgambo stated that the suspects will soon appear in court to face charges related to operating without a license.
