Member of Parliament for Blantyre City South East, Sameer Suleman, rose on a point of order this morning to ask the speaker if his security is guaranteed.
Suleman alleges that Malawi Congress Party (MCP) operatives are at the entrance of the parliament building and inside with a list of names of people they want to deal with, including himself.
In response, speaker Catherine Gotani Hara said the security of all the Members of Parliament is always guaranteed and that the concerned member should not get worried.
Parliament is today scheduled to wind up business.
