The police in Kawale have arrested 23 individuals suspected of being involved in various crimes in the areas surrounding the Kawale police station.
Kawale police spokesperson Sub-Inspector Precious Mabvuto Phiri reported that the police initiated a special three-day investigation following reports of break-ins and an increase in theft-related activities.
Phiri stated that from Monday to Wednesday this week, a special operation was conducted to investigate individuals involved in criminal activities in the Kawale 1, Majiga, Chilinde, Chadzamakono, and Biwi areas.
All suspects will appear before court soon.
