Peoples Development Party (PDP) President Dr. Kondwani Nankhumwa on Monday attended the funeral ceremony of the party member Steve Thembachako in Ndirande Township in Blantyre.
Thembachako, a renowned music producer and a PDP member, died on Sunday at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital after a short illness.
Dr. Nankhumwa was accompanied by hundreds of PDP members and senior officials among them Director of Elections Nanariwa Nanguwo, Treasurer General Amos Mwenye, Publicity Secretary Rhodes Msonkho and Regional governor for the south Eric Motifala.
Thembachako was laid to rest at Malabada cemetery.
