Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Blantyre City South East Constituency Sameer Sulemani visited a place where a plane carrying former Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima crashed in Chikangawa Forest.
DPP Councillor Leonard Chimbanga has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.
“Hon.Sameer Suleman-MP the National Organising Secretary of the DPP paid his respect to the fallen Vice President SKC on the exact Spot where he was was murdered at Chikangawa forest in June 2024 in a plane crash. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” wrote Chimbanga.
Sulemani was in Mzuzu where the opposition DPP held a mass rally at Katoto Freedom Park and DPP leader Peter Mutharika graced it.
Chilima and 8 others crashed to death on 10 June, 2024.
