Information reaching our news desk indicates that Baka City football team bus was involved in an accident in Salima while returning from a TNM Super League assignment.
The incident occurred when a van coming from the opposite direction was miscontrolled.
According to the club’s media communication, the driver of the van, who is assumed to have been drunk, fled the scene.
So far, no injuries have been reported among the team, which is currently at the bottom of the league table and just lost 3-0 to Bangwe All Stars at Balaka Stadium.
