Malawi’s Vice President Dr Michael Usi has toured Mzuzu Main Market to appreciate how vendors who are plying small scale businesses in the market, are operating.
Among others, Dr Usi visited restaurants, fish, rice and other sections of Mzuzu Main Market.
The Vice President is in the Northern Region to undertake a number of official engagements.
Usi arrived in Mzuzu yesterday evening and was welcomed by supporters of United Transformation Movement (UTM).
The trip to Mzuzu came barely days after a close door meeting with UTM top officials led by Noel Masangwi, Felix Njawala and others.
