National Publicity Secretary Yusuf Mwawa of the United Democratic Front (UDF) has announced that the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) will meet tomorrow, Thursday, to discuss new dates for the party’s national conference.
During the meeting, the NEC will also review reports from all sub-committees and amend certain clauses of the party’s constitution.
Political parties are holding national conferences to select new representatives as they prepare for next year’s general elections.
Currently, the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) have already held their conventions.
