Zomba police have arrested a Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) Student, Ishmael Nsungawana for reportedly found possessing Chamba without permit.
Zomba police spokesperson, Patricia Sipiliano confirmed the arrest, saying Nsungawana has arrested today morning together with other suspects who committed different offences.
Silipano said the arrest has come following the report from villagers and the  police investigation on the cases.
The other suspects have arrested because of theft and burglary and also possessing chamba without consent.
Nsungawana hails from Mdoka village T/A Chikowi in Zomba district
The suspects will soon appear before court to answer charges levelled against them.
