In Nsanje, an angry mob has set ablaze to death a suspected goat rustler.
The district’s police spokesperson Agnes Zalakoma has identified the deceased as Yosefe Mitolozo.
According to Zalakoma, the incident happened at Mgona in the area of Traditional Authority Tengani around 11:30 hrs.
“Facts are that the reporter who is a Group Village Headman received a report that the deceased was caught red handed stealing goats, then the angry mob mobilized and burnt him to death, Zalakoma says.
She adds that police visited the crime scene and postmortem revealed that he died due to severe burns.
