Police in Mzuzu have arrested three men for suspecting to have been involved in crime and violence in the city.
Deputy Police Spokesperson at the Northern Police Headquarters, Cecilia Mfune, has identified the suspects as Nyakwawa Photo,32-year-old, King Banda ,25 and Jafari Mapira, 32.
According to Mfune. the three were arrested on Wednesday night following an investigation that was carried out after receiving complaints from a number of people about the rise in crime in the city, including at the hostels. Paramount, Viyere, Choice Kama and Natu.
Currently, the suspect are in police custody and they will soon appear in court
