One of the Concerned citizens Queen Kapalamula who penned the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) asking the bureau to investigate Finance Minister, Hon Chithyola Banda, and his daughter, Regina on the alleged corruption involvement, has pulled out.
Last week the grouping asked ACB to investigate Chithyola and his daughter after reports went viral on social media that the girls was flaunting ownership of 20 luxurious cars.
The grouping suspected that the cars may have been acquired dubiously.
But in a letter dated May 27, 2024 addressed to ACB Director General Martha Chizuma, Kapalamula said she has decided to withdraw from the calls due to the fact that she was not consulted at the day the letter was submitted to the bureau.
