Nigerian Afrobeat’s singer, Davido has revealed that he will quit music after the release of his next album.
The singer recently revealed that the industry has had no peace since he entered the scene.
In a post via his X page, the singer said he loves the effect of his presence in the music industry
“Yall niggas want me out of the game that bad?? Oya after the next album l will not do again. So una fit get peace” he wrote in pidgin English.
Davido didn’t reveal when the album will be out, but fans are eagerly anticipating it.
Davido’s plans to quit come shortly after a fight with a fellow Nigerian superstar Wizkid on Social media platform X.
Their beef escalated after posted a video showing Davido in tears, kneeling on the floor and begging someone (presumably a lady).
Some of Davido’s fans and followers have suggested that this may be a reason for quitting music. Would he truly leave the industry after the release of his alleged last album? Fans would want to know.
