Two people are reported dead following flash floods that have hit Chikwawa District in the southern part of the country.
Department of Disaster Management Affairs (DODMA) Chairperson in the District Charity Machika has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
Machika said people in the area of Chief Malemia, Traditional Authority Ngabu are the most affected.
She said the flash floods are as a result of heavy rains being experienced in the district from yesterday morning.
