Authorities say 85 Ethiopians have been arrested in the month of March alone for illegal entry into Malawi.
This follows the arrest of 15 Ethiopians at a place called Mtangatanga Chasato in Mzimba district.
Northern Region Immigration Public Relations Officer, Francis Chitambuli, has said during their arrest, the Ethiopians were aboard a Quantam minibus on their way to Lilongwe.
Meanwhile, the quantum minibus has been impounded while the driver of the vehicle is at large.
