Malawi Congress Party (MCP) chairman for the North-South political region Joseph Chavula has claimed that some people are planning to remove him from the post.
Chavula said that it will not be easy to topple him, arguing, he is delivering to the best of his abilities.
He said this when closing the meeting where Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba was being presented to the regional committee by the Euthini Political District.
“I know of the secret meetings taking place to topple me, but I can challenge you that it want happen. I came here by vote, and can only be removed by a vote.
“But even with the vote, it won’t be easy to remove me. I am only doing what I am supposed to do as regional chairman,” he said.
