Former National Youth Director for United Transformation Movement (UTM) Bon Kalindo has has applauded the Malawi Law Society (MLS) for obtaining a stay order on the interdiction of Martha Chizuma, ACB Director General.
Last week, Coleen Zamba, Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) interdicted Chizuma over the leaked phone conversation, whose case is now before the court.
This decision attracted mixed views, as some section of the society, including Kalindo, took it to the street demanding its reversal.
Meanwhile, the High Court in Blantyre has granted Malawi Law Society, stay order on Chizuma’s interdiction, pending judicial review.
Speaking in an interview with Kalindo has described the move as a way forward towards getting justice on the matter.
Meanwhile, Kalindo has advised Chizuma to trade carefully in line of duty and always abide by the law.
