Government has disclosed that it needs K200 million to renovate Bingu National Stadium (BNS) in Lilongwe
The sentiment has been made by Minister of Sports Uchizi Mkandawire when he toured the facility.
Mkandawire said the money will among other things fix toilets that were vandalized at the stadium.
Mkandawire has further given his ministry officials up to March 10 to finish all renovations taking place as the stadium is expected to host an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between the Flames and Egypt on 28 march 2023.
