Zambia former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu was this morning spotted checking prices of various goods at pick N Pay (Twin Palm) in Lusaka.
Lungu who was accompanied by his wife Esther did this after coming out of the ACC Court where his son was summoned for questioning.
Speaking to the press Lungu expressed shock that Mealie Meal is still expensive despite change of Government.
In two sentences of expressing shock, Dr. Lungu said he hoped that Mealie Meal would drop drastically.
“Mealie Meal is this expensive? I thought it was much cheaper now. We pray that it will drop drastically in no time” he said before proceeding to do some widow shopping.
Many Zambians have advised the former President to stay away from active Politics and be a guiding Political gOD father to many politicians.
