Blantyre Police have received a donation of computer equipment to boost security in the city.
Blantyre Police Officer in Charge Obrey Nyirenda revealed this when the police station was receiving two computer monitors from Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority.
Meanwhile, Blantyre Police have embarked on a drive to install CCTV cameras in the city so that the cameras will help in monitoring activities in the city 24/7.
Public Relations Officer for Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority Board, Mirrium Kumbuyo said the donation was driven by their desire to make Blantyre, and Malawi at large, crime free.
