Five people have been arrested in Namadzi, Chiradzulu on allegations that they have been terrorising Chitera and Mbulumbuzi trading centres in the district.
The five are Gift Chinangwa, 30, Prince Ganiza, 18, Jonas Kenneth, 19, Anthony Ali, 42, and Mphatso Mankhwala, 26.
Namadzi Police Crime Investigations Officer Frank Kadaya has told Times 360 that the cops nabbed the five during an operation conducted after a series of break-ins.
The operation, according to Kadaya, led to the recovery of items worth K3 million.
