Two motorcycle tax operators are battling for their lives at Dedza district hospital after they were attacked by unknown people at Lingalawe bridge in the district.
Dedza Police Spokesperson Edward Kabango has identified the victims as Chisomo Chimbiya aged 38 and Joseph Kadewere aged 31.
The criminals robbed two phones from Chimbiya and his motorcycle worth 1.2 million kwacha.
Kadewere was robbed together with his passengers and he sustained a deep cut on the head.
