Biwi Community Day Secondary School students have taken to the street to protest over demolition of some school blocks on Saturday allegedly by members of the community.
The incident has resulted in the closure of the school by the Ministry of Education.
The students are matching to Capital Hill to present their grievances on the matter.
The angry armed mob descended at the school yesterday and started breaking windows in what the school authorities described as a retaliation for a decision by Lilongwe City Council (LCC) to demolish a nearby lodge and a hardware which are behind the school premises.
