Nsanje district Police Spokesperson, Sub Inspctor Agnes Zalakoma has comfirmed the death of a 24 year old man, Meke Maison after he consumed alcohol for three days on empty stomach.
Zalakoma said the incident was reported to police by the father of the deceased identified as Maison Bulaundi aged 45.
The dead body was taken to Nsanje District Hospital pending postmortem.
Maison hailed from Joni village in the area of Traditional Authority Malemia in Nsanje district.
