A young mother in Thyolo, Prisca Banda, has taken her own life leaving instructions to her relations that her husband who is in South Africa should not have a hand in the upbringing of a child left behind.
A Village Head woman Ndaona II, said the body of the woman was found hanging in her bedroom on Sunday afternoon in her village.
In her suicide note, the chief narrated, the deceased wrote: “I am appealing to my relatives not to give my child any assistance from my husband who is in South Africa. My husband has been abusing me. God should forgive me”.
Police are ye to comment on the matter.
