Government has described as fake reports that it intends to reintroducing fees in primary school.
This comes as reports are rife on social media that government is pondering on reintroducing fees in government primary schools.
Free Primary Education (FPE) policy was introduced in 1994.
Chikondi Chimala, spokesperson in the Ministry of Education described the reports as not true.
According to Chimala, government has no any such plans and public primary schools will remain free.
