The Senior Resident Magistrate Court in Lumbadzi Dowa, has today sentenced Owen Adson to three years imprisonment with hard labourer for burglary and theft.
State prosecutor Sub-Inspector Chikondi Nkosi told the court that during the night of June 12 2022, Adson broke into a house of Benson Balakasi at Chikoko village in the area going away with various items valued at K842,000 and cash amounting to K100,000.00,
Appearing in court, the convict pleaded guilty to the charges.
Resident Magistrate Montfort Misunje sentenced Adson to 3 IHL to deter other would be offenders.
