United Transformation Movement (UTM) regional secretary for the north Jane Mbale says her party has never engaged her on what transpired in the aiding of illegal immigrants case she was allegedly involved in.
Following this Mbale says she will not comment on her suspension from the party that was issued to her through social media.
A statement dated 25 April 2022 announces the suspension of Jane Mbale as UTM regional secretary for the north pending investigations.
A spokesperson for the part Frank Mwenifumbo says as a party they have a code of conduct that they follow and when one steps out of line, measures apply.
Meanwhile, UTM has ordered Mbale to surrender all party assets and documents to the regional governor in the meantime.
