Justice Frank Kapanda of Supreme Court has granted bail to convicted Businessman Thom Mpinganjira.
Mpinganjira has been granted bail pending his appeal on his conviction and sentencing.
Mpinganjira was found guilty by the High Court in Blantyre for allegedly bribing Constitutional Court Judges presiding over the 2019 presidential elections case.
He was sentenced to 9 years Imprisonment with hard labor by Judge Dorothy DE Gabriella
He was serving his jail sentence at Chichiri Prison in Blantyre.
