Reports reaching faceofmalawi indicate that unknown thugs have killed a security guard before stealing window frames in Thyolo.
Thyolo Police Publicist, Amos Tione has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Tione, the assailants killed Mateyu Mchikocho, when he was on duty at Mr. Mpachika’s residence during the night of 15 to 16 February, 2022 at Molande village in Traditional Authority Nchilamwera in the district.
The deceased hailed from Naphazi village, Traditional Authority Nchilamwera in the district.
The police have since launched a manhunt.
