Police in Lumbadzi have uprooted some plants of Indian Hemp that were illegally cultivated in Longwe village TA Mkukula in Dowa by Marknell Dimba.
Lumbadzi Police spokesperson, Felix Kwinyani confirmed of the development.
According to Kwinyani, Â Â the police were hunting for Dimba who escaped when police were following him to a garden on a case in which he allegedly demolished oven molded bricks.
While in the garden, police discovered that Dimba had cultivated India Hemp without license.
