Information sourced by this publication indicate that candidate for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) candidate Leonard Mwalwanda will not cast his vote in the by-elections in Karonga Central Constituency.
Mwalwanda confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying he will not vote because he registered in Lilongwe.
According to Malawi Electoral Commission, no transfers were allowed during this by-election process.
