Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC) is demanding government should release board of directors for parastatals immediately.
HRDC made the call this morning during a press briefing that is underway in the capital Lilongwe.
According to HRDC executive member reverend Mac Donald Sembereka, leaves decision making to officers who are not supposed to bear that responsibility.
President Lazarus Chakwera dissolved all board of directors immediately after he attained the presidency on June 23, 2020.
Just a week ago during State House Weekly press briefing Sean Kampondeni, Director of Communications at State House said the president and his vice Saulos Chilima are working on releasing the board of directors of parastatals.
