The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has rejected Peter Mpinganjira who is the younger brother to Thom Mpinganjira as one of the sureties.
ACB Director General Reyneck Matemba argued that Peter was part of the process that was behind the cancellation of the arrest warrant on the Business tycoon describing him as dishonest.
Meanwhile, the accused’s lawyer Patrick Nkhono has accepted to withdraw Peter as one of the sureties.
The ACB has now accepted Davie Charles Kanyoza, who is Thom Mpinganjira’s long time friend as surety.
