Albino boy who went missing in Dedza found dead

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that an albino boy who went missing on Monday in Dedza has been found dead with somebody parts chopped off.

The body of the deceased was found dumped in Diamphwi River within the boundary Dedza and Lilongwe.

Deputy National Police Spokesperson, Thomeck Nyaude confirmed of the development in an interview with the press by saying that police are on the ground to establish if the body is that of the albino boy, Goodson Makanjira.

According to Nyaude, some body parts are missing.

The 14 year old boy identified as Goodson Makanjira was abducted by unknown people on Monday night in his parents’ house.

Association of Persons with Albinism in Malawi (APAM) President Overstone Kondowe has since asked President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to declare Malawi unsafe place for albinos.
