Death has been announced of Traditional Authority Chimombo Nsanje District, faceofmnalawi can reveal.
Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has confirmed of the development in a statement released on Wednesday made available to faceofmalawi reporter.
“T/A Chimombo whose names were Stafford Mtukula died in the afternoon hours of Tuesday,20th November 2018 due to complicated acute kidney failure at Nsanje District Hospital. Late Chief Chimombo was born in 1956 and has died at the age of 62,” reads in part the statement.
The late was installed as TA on 1st April, 1991. He is survived by 6 wives,10 children and 22 grandchildren.
Burial of the Chief Chimombo will take place on Saturday, the 24th of November,2018 at his family home in Nsanje.
