Police have arrested a 37-year-old Nigerian national for being found with Apomorphine illegal drug.
The suspect has been identified as Collins Bernard.
Reports say during that time, Bernard was about to board an Ethiopian airline. As he got on the checking point, the x-ray machine detected something unusual in his bag.
The officer who was on duty asked to physically check the bag where the illicit drug was finally found.
The suspect is in custody at Chileka Police Station where he is waiting to answer the charge of being found in possession of illicit drug and illegal exportation of dangerous drug.
Cases like these have become rampant with many involved being foreigners.
Just in February, police also arrested a Tanzanian national at the airport who was found with cocaine.
