Unidentified man is in Police custody in the capital Lilongwe for allegedly beating security at scare at Kamuzu International Airport to board Malawian Airlines’ Bombadier Q400.
According to reports published by Zodiak online, a man whose identity is yet to be established was found in a Malawian Airlines’ Bombadier Q400 on Monday morning before the staff had reported for duty, causing workers to be under panic.
Malawian Airlines spokesperson Ovihlela Bunya confirmed of the development with the online publication.
Bunya told the publication that workers noticed something was amiss when they saw the plane’s emergency door was open.
Meanwhile the plane is undergoing security checks.
