At least 24 motor vehicles belonging to different people were maliciously damaged by the suspected angry Mighty Wanders Football Club Supporters following the 2 – 1 goals in favour of Blue Eagles Football Club at Kamuzu Stadium played on June 29, 2013. This figure is only cases reported within Blantyre policing area, that is, Ndirande, Chilomoni, Blantyre, Soche, Kabula, Chirimba, South Lunzu, Soche, Milare, Mpemba and Sigerege.
Vehicles parts damaged include: windscreens, headlamps, and lens. No one has been arrested following the incident but police investigations are in progress to arrests the suspect(s)
